What people are saying…

Because reading is so important, I wanted to make sure that my daughter started out reading right. Thank you so much—in four months’ time, she went from knowing nothing to reading sentences—and enjoying reading—she thinks reading is fun! [I] recommend this to anyone who wants to start their child out right.

After just his first year in school, my [six-year-old] son didn’t want to read and his teacher said that he needed help. Now—just two months later—[my son] is happy and smiling and reading words, and he can figure new words out easily. I’ve already told my friends—because it changed our whole outlook on reading for us.

I just watched… WHERE WERE YOU WHEN I WAS LITTLE?! I was in tears thinking about how this SO could have helped me and my reading/spelling issues, and how it is going to be PERFECT for my younger 2 kids, and how I wish I’d known about this sooner so maybe I could have kept my almost 15 year old from having to stay back in 1st grade…. I can’t wait to get my kids started! Thank you!

I just watched and was moved by it… Thank you so much for your guidance!

Thank you! [It’s] perfect to help our girls, almost 5 years old who is still struggling to learn and an almost 7 years old who is starting to love books…

So excited!!! My age 3 son loves this [approach] so much that he wants you to come to Wisconsin some time… I told him I would email you to let you know that he had that thought, but that you will likely stay in the computer.

Thank you!! My 5th-grade son has been struggling to read for years. [With these ways of teaching] for the last 3-4 weeks, it is an unbelievable improvement already. He is very smart at everything, but sounding out words takes him forever. Now he is getting much quicker and its starting to make sense to him. He just did his first week of spelling for this year, and OH MY GOSH, he did it!! We studied and took the test in 1 hour! Instead of slowly sounding out every…….single……letter…..now he sees the sound boxes and a letter or 2 and Bam….he has spelled a word. And he can remember it and rewrite it for the test. Normally, after he looks at it and reads it with me, then it is gone. He would have to sound it out all over again with no real recognition of sounding it out moments before!!! We are super excited and just wanted you to know that just 4 weeks in we are having great success!! From one mom to another, thank you so much!
